November 2017
In This Issue
The first week of November, Integral Care hosted two events to update the community on our Housing First capital campaign.
Thank you to our gracious hosts, attendees and all who donated. These events added an additional $75,000 to our goal, putting us 92% of the way to our $2 million Rathgeber Challenge goal.
You, too, can join the growing list of donors and be part of the solution.

From the Streets into a Home: Videos highlight clients’ personal stories

Integral Care launched a social media campaign, highlighting 4 of its clients’ personal stories of going from homeless to housed. Gripping 2-3 minute videos dig into what it actually feels like to experience homelessness and the emotional experience of regaining a home. You don’t want to miss the diverse collection of stories, each revealing the healing powers of a home.
Meet Joyce.  She never thought she would be homeless.
You can watch more videos on our website or Facebook page

 Meet the Staff: Kristi Kaiser

We recently met with Kristi Kaiser, Program Manager with the Healthy Community Collaborative.
Tell us about your role at Integral Care.
I am a Program Manager with the Healthy Community Collaborative team.  Our program works to expand services to individuals experiencing mental illness and homelessness.

Shout Out

Our friends at the Lola Wright Foundation have agreed to donated another $50,000 towards the Rathgeber Challenge. The Foundation’s generosity will help make Housing First Oak Springs help more people like Joyce.
We are so grateful to our brave clients for sharing their insightful comments on how and why homelessness happened to them. Their hope and resilience is truly inspiring. I hope you’ll take the time to view each video to understand the need for creating a community like Housing First Oak Springs.
Sincerely,

Ellen Richards
